Charlie knew that he wanted to propose to Kate the day before the were scheduled to attend the 10th Annual National Eucharistic in Indianapolis, IN. They started by going to Mass, then Holy Hour and ended with Benediction. After benediction, Charlie gave the organist the thumbs-up. (Which I am proud to have captured...)
When the music began, he brought her to the front and knelt at the foot of the altar. After praying, he stood her up and then got down on one knee. Which began the shedding of many tears... some of them Kate's. (The rest of them mine...)
Then Father performed the betrothal rights, blessed special edition Eucharistic Congress Rosaries and was initiated into the Brown Scapular. Then father was kind enough to let us take photos inside and outside the church... which came out beautifully...
Truly... how wonderful did these photos come out! This a story that will be shared with children and grand-children and they have the photos to show. Don't hesitate! If you are still struggling with whether to hire a photographer for your proposal, this is your sign to do it!
