A Romantic May Wedding

In the quaint town of Steubenville, Ohio, a love story that began in the halls of a local college culminated in a beautiful Catholic wedding on a warm summer's day. Surrounded by friends, family, and the picturesque charm of a new winery, this May wedding was a celebration of love, faith, and the journey of two college sweethearts.

THE CEREMONY

The wedding ceremony took place at St. Peter's Catholic Church, a historic and beautiful church known for its stunning stained-glass windows and intricate architecture. As the morning sun streamed through the colorful glass, Claire walked down the aisle in a classic white gown escorted by her parents, her hair styled elegantly without a veil. Joernie, handsome in his suit, couldn't contain his joy as he watched his bride approach.

Father Bradley Greer officiated the ceremony. His homily spoke of love, commitment, and the sacramental nature of marriage. The couple exchanged vows and rings, sealing their promises with a kiss that echoed the joy and sanctity of their union.

THE RECEPTION

Following the heartfelt ceremony, guests made their way to the reception at the newly opened Borelli Vineyard, nestled on the outskirts of Steubenville. The vineyard, with its rolling hills provided a stunning backdrop for the celebration.

As guests arrived, they were greeted with refreshing glasses of the vineyard’s signature wines and a selection of delicious appetizers. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, music, and the soft murmur of conversations as friends and family mingled and celebrated the newlyweds.

As the sun began to set, casting a golden glow over the vineyard, the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance as husband and wife. Soon after, the dance floor filled with guests of all ages, dancing the night away.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Claire and Joernie’s wedding in Steubenville was not just a celebration of their love, but also a testament to the power of faith, family, and community. As they embark on this new chapter of their lives, they carry with them the blessings and well-wishes of all who were present to witness their union.

A wedding is a beautiful celebration of love, and Claire and Joernie’s May wedding in Steubenville was nothing short of enchanting. From the sacred ceremony at St. Peter's Catholic Church to the joyous reception at Harmony Vineyard, every moment was filled with love, laughter, and the promise of a bright future. As they ended the night with a twilight sparkler exit, I prayed that their future would honor God and be fruitful of the richness of His kingdom.

Lux Fiat.
